- Spoilers up 7x23 of Desperate Housewifes )
The seventh season Desperate to reconciliation has been my series. After the tedium of the fifth and subsequent abandonment, in summer time because I put the arrival of a new neighbor filled me with hope and so I came to see last season. I really do not know if it was the new neighbor, played by Vanessa Williams fantastic, or if the return to the mystery that first charmed us, but this season, women have been fantastic, although it is true that in the second half fell the bar a little.
As I said the mystery of this season has centered around of Paul Young and all that it could entail. However, the Paul we knew has become changed or, rather, has been changing over the episodes, in my opinion, his love of Beth, the daughter of Felicia , something that all world could come to predict. If during the first few chapters delighted us with their arrogance, after the suicide of Beth, one of the best character-end collapsed to the point of giving pain to his archenemy, Susan. While the end of this story was a bit choppy. The release from prison of Felicia and her subsequent move to Wisteria Lane returned to repeat the same pattern of revenge something other hand, I began to tire. The Dead? Felicia was quite predictable since it is an easy resource to close the story. The consequence will come from the hand of Paul we'll have to see if it really has changed and his confession does not have second floors.
If the plot of Paul has gone more or less, has traveled the same path of Susan . It started with the hilarious erotic work, then have a melancholy story with your kidney, and finally fade into the fabric of Paul. If the first I thought it was great, but not the story of his kidney that eventually grew stale. We all knew that eventually would recover, but not the same with Beth puntazo's suicide and his organ donation. The only good thing: the return home (I think).
The frame has remained interesting throughout the whole season has been Gaby. Season began discovering that Juanita was not his daughter, knowing her daughter and then the ensuing crisis with Juanita. This implies a disturbing episodes in which Gaby shoved a doll was her daughter. After fixing the whole story, Gaby spent a quiet season until one night Carlos Discovering the truth about death his mother and forbids him to see Bree. However, the two friends will choose to maintain a clandestine relationship, something that was really fun. However, Carlos finally gets Bree and Gaby stop seeing, but there comes the final rotation. Back Gaby's stepfather and at a time in which she feels attacked, Carlos kills him. The four friends as they discover and Bree in the lead, decide to hide the body thereby achieving a reconciliation with Charles.
On the other hand, the lives of Bree and Lynette were the least interesting. On the one hand, Bree has revolved around two men. First, the young man who manages the house (Brian Austen Green), whose end was announced from the beginning. The age difference and the desire to start a family outweighed the love and the discovery that had a son Keith was the straw that led to the breakup. Behind him, a detective whose arrival on Wisteria Lane is very mysterious, but neither has much more juice. On the other hand, we have to Lynette, the most boring. With virtually nothing to note except the final. What was something that was crying out for season, in this seventh happened: the separation of Tom and Lynette. The only desperation that had remained married throughout the series, experiences his first break so we'll see how take it in the next season.
And this new neighbor? If almost everyone thought that Renee came to revolutionize the neighborhood, I first, we were wrong. Has come to be one more, join the group and be the link that holds it together as it has not had any plot itself remarkable. Which I think is a shame that they wasted this way. I hope that in the eighth alo give him more than being the loyal friend who tells the truth to women and has a very interesting plot.
